Christian Alcalá obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with an Accounting Major from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico Law School. With over 15 years of experience, Mr. Alcalá counsels clients on matters related to corporate law, corporate restructuring, tax law, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, and business and financial planning. He managed his own legal practice for over ten years and has worked as a corporate associate at a prominent law firm in Puerto Rico and as a tax consultant at a well-known national accounting firm in Puerto Rico.

Mr. Alcalá has been a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) since 2006. He is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Texas, the United States Court of Appeals (First Circuit), the United States District Court for the District of Puerto Rico, and the United States Bankruptcy Court. He is also a Certified Insolvency and Restructuring Advisor (CIRA), a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and a member of the Puerto Rico Society of Public Accountants, the American Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the Association of Insolvency and Restructuring Advisors. Additionally, he has been a speaker for several educational associations, including the American Bankruptcy Institute, the Puerto Rico CPA Association, and the San Juan Board of Realtors.
